Playing with the juxtaposition of heels being worn in a "working" environment, this project required our season II academy students to get down & "dirrty" dancing as mechanics. This project was shot at the iconic Engel's Repair & Towing, a three generation family owned business on Vashon Island.

As ZTHEORY Academy's debut project, we wanted this to come out with a bang, or rather a SPARKLE. This being our first in person program after having gone through the pandemic, we wanted this project to be a celebration of resilience and togetherness. We had the honor of shooting this at SuperNova Seattle, one of Seattle's premiere night clubs.

As ZCo's debut project, this piece was meant to standout and show the versatility of how we move in heels at ZTHEORY, while also serving as on homage to Seattle and it's grunge roots. This project was shot at Dozer's Warehouse, a special space marked with the art of many artists we had shared the space. This project ended up being the last project done before the space was demolished.
